Candace Kelley is the Executive Producer of Affirmative Reaction. She is a five-time Emmy-nominated television producer and writer who has been producing television for close to 25 years at media outlets including BET, NY1, Court TV, UPN9 and Comcast/NBCUniversal. As a comedy show producer, she has produced comedy shows in locations throughout New Jersey featuring comedians like Kim Coles and Marina Franklin. Her productions always keep women at the forefront.  As the Executive Producer of Supernatural: The Play,  she brought the natural hair journeys of Black women to life on stage Off-Broadway in NY, NJ, Virginia and Los Angeles. 

 

​Xanda Tonge is a cinematographer and editor known for his guerilla-style filmmaking. He is currently working on BET's Comic View reboot and has producing credits with industry greats and media outlets including Kevin Hart, Anthony Anderson, Kim Coles, The Comedy Cup,  Laugh Out Loud Network,  LOL Comedy Honors, Grand Slam Media, Redman, Full Force, Sugar Hill Gang, Living Colour, Netflix, McDonald's and Sony Legacy. His photographs and content have appeared in dozens of media outlets including MTV, BET, TVONE, Vibe, and The Source. In 2013, he directed and co-produced his first full-length documentary entitled Maurice Watts: 30 Years Behind The Mic. In 2015, he filmed and edited the documentary Touched with award-winning author Anita Kopacz, which was a featured selection in the 2016 UPTOWN Short Film Festival.
